What exactly is Team One? An ongoing marketing concept
related to the promotion of Super Stock
and Stocker drag racing and the interests of our Team members. Thus far, we
have developed a Team One Marketing Plan as a model for racing operations, race
decals for our team participants (which pay finalists $50), a team I.D.-based,
flagged-off pit area at races for sharing equipment, info and data as well as
pit and trailer banners, Driver-Autographed t-shirts, golf shirts, race shirts
and pants and trailer flags. A complete racer-oriented clothing line and Super
Stock Primer for fans are under development, all of which carry various
configurations of the Team One logo for our teams. Our Team One race
decals and shirts can
have the logo modified to reflect YOUR car, autograph etc.
Our philosophy? The mega-sized racing organizations
that sponsor our races aren't interested in promoting our part of the sport.
That means that we, the racers, have to come up with new marketing concepts and
promotional ideas to present a team-based, professional image to the public and

TEAM ONE RACING SERIES
PROPOSED:
We have made a proposal to two California drag
strips for sponsoring a series of races under our banner and name. The Team One
Series would offer accelerated prize money to participants, and up to 10 annual
races at a centrally-located track. We believe that these additional races and
better prize money will bring increased interest and participation back to high
performance, basic drag racing. Classes we have proposed to run are Super
Stock, Stock, Super Stock Truck and Jr. Fuel. The largest percentage of the net
profits of each one-day event would be awarded to the entrants. If you would

Joe Schweigert- #1 Qualifier in Super Stock- 2006 World Finals- Pomona
TEAM SUPER STOCK PERFORMANCE
UPDATES:
Pomona World Finals 11/9- 11/12/06
Joe Schweigert qualified #1 at 10.339 in SS/KA, -1.211 under the index with his
305, now-fuel-injected Team One Chevy Motor- Schweigert-built; Dominic Camera
qualified #16 at 9.888, -1.062 under; Charlie Bohannon, in Brian Taits
car, qualified # 37 with a 9.803 -0.897 under, after the car was moved up
one class for this race to GT/CA and was 200 lbs. overweight! Schweigert
went 4 rounds before redlighting to ultimate Super Stock winner Brad Plourd,
Camera went 3 rounds and Bohannon went 2 rounds.
Las Vegas Lucas Oil Meet- 11/2- 11/5/06
Dominic Camera qualified #5 at 9.948, -1.272 under the index for GT/EA!!
Brian Tait and Jim Rau also raced; updates to follow.
Las Vegas Nationals- 10/26-28/06:
Dominic Camera Qualified 10th, Brian Tait 53rd out of 102 cars. Camera ran
9.91, 1.30 under the index in GT/EA and won class, red-lighted first round of
Super Stock eliminations; Tait ran a best of 9.92 in GT/DA, red-lighted in class
and broke out in first round of SS elim's. Both teams returned to Las
Vegas 11/2 for the Lucas Points Meet.
7/30/04- Sonoma NHRA Nationals- The
Team One sponsored Firebird qualified #2 at 10.377 or 1.123 under the index. The
only car faster was Randy Jones' COMP ELIM. car and the Firebird was over a tenth faster
than any other Super Stocker, including Fletcher, the DeFrank cars and Biondo. You
can see the qualifying results at www.nhra.com .
The Firebird's performance made it #2 in the country this season, behind
only Dave Layer in GT/IA. The Firebird was sold to Don Durham after this
meet. Watch for the Team One sponsored 400 Camaro at Palmdale,
Las Vegas, Medford and the World Finals.
5/22/04 at Bakersfield Lucas Points
Meet- Famoso Raceway. The John Gulius-powered 305 Chevy Team One sponsored Firebird
qualified #3, was #1 for awhile, ran its 3rd best time ever, even after adding 40 lbs.

under. Two Team One sponsored cars in the top 10 in qualifying! All done on a
terrible track.

high torque conditions. Super Shift® contains top quality additives
selected specifically for racing applications. Its unmatched
transmission friction performance provides high holding capacity for
maximum torque transfer and brake power, reduced wear and longer clutch
plate life. Super Shift® virtually eliminates slippage, promotes
positive clutch engagement and improves overall shift performance,
helping racers improve on elapsed times.
Wear Protection
Synthetic Super Shift® Racing Transmission Fluid contains a
robust additive system for extra protection, and its shear stable base
oils prevent viscosity loss throughout its service life. Super Shift®
provides long-term protection against equipment wear, even when the
equipment is frequently subjected to sustained periods of applied
pressure or high horsepower and high torque. Clutches, bearings and
bushings last longer, saving money on transmission repairs.
Extreme Temperature Performance
Synthetic Super Shift® Racing Transmission Fluid is highly effective
against heat and wear, reducing transmission temperature and minimizing
or eliminating burned up transmissions. Its superior oxidative and
thermal stability inhibits the formation of varnish, deposits and sludge
so equipment runs clean. Super Shift® acts as a heat transfer fluid and
by controlling clutch slippage it helps reduce operating temperatures of
hot transmissions by up to 50° F. In low temperatures, Super Shift®
flows readily for dependable startup and poststartup protection.
Copper Corrosion, Rust and Foam Inhibition
Synthetic Super Shift® Racing Transmission Fluid protects equipment
from copper corrosion and rust, even during equipment storage. It
controls foaming for reduced component wear and responsive clutch plate
engagements.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Synthetic Super Shift® Racing Transmission Fluid is recommended for
automatic transmissions coupled to high horsepower, high torque
engines. It is also recommended where heavy loads place a high
demand on transmissions. Recommended where Allison C-4 or Ford Type F is

Note: Synthetic Super Shift® Racing Transmission Fluid
is not recommended as a replacement for Ford Mercon, GM Dexron or
Chrysler ATF+ type fluids in passenger vehicle and truck transmissions
as it may cause erratic shift patterns, chattering or noise. Team One is
not responsible for transmission performance inconsistent with those
specifications listed and where transmissions have been modified from
the original manufacturer’s design.

Three New Sizes are Designed For Higher Horsepower Cars And Dragsters
Mickey Thompson Performance Tires And Wheels is introducing three new ET Drag
tires to its line up this season. The 3055S is engineered for higher horsepower muscle
cars in the NMRA, NSCA, and PRO classes, the 3078L is engineered with the new M5 compound
for the Super Stock class, and the 3186, which has already set new ET records, is designed
for the Pro Stock, Pro Mod, Top Alcohol Dragster, and Top Alcohol Funny Car Classes.
Mickey Thomson used top racers to test the tires and believes all three will set a new
standard for these fast classes. Six racers won world championships on the prototype tires
